With Huntington, reward points pile up. Earn 3X reward points when you use your credit card to make a purchase in your category of choice, up to $2,000 in spend per quarter. Whether you earn 3X points on your weekly grocery store trip or on your next flight out of town, the choice is yours! Change your rewards category every quarter (or three months) as needed. Earn 1X points on all other purchases, even after you reach the quarterly limit.

Every point equals a penny–that means 5,000 points = $50 cash! So, you can redeem points sooner and get better rewards. Plus, there's no annual fee.^¶

What are credit card reward points?

Reward points are incentives accrued when using a rewards credit card. Points are earned by making select purchases that eventually can be converted intotangible rewards–discounted airfare, restaurant or store gift cards, cash back, and more. Bonus categories are generally offered as a way to earn more points in adesignated category. Point systems, purchase categories, and rewards vary by card issuers.

At Huntington, every point is a penny and there’s no annual fee.^¶ Earn 3X points in a category of your choice and 1X points on all other purchases. We offer 10 preselected categories ranging from gas stations, restaurants, and home improvement stores to electronics, grocery stores, and travel, entertainment. This category can be changed every quarter (or three months) as needed.

Here's an example: Kim updated the flooring and paint in her master bathroom this spring. That's why her 3X rewards category was Home Improvement Stores. But she changed it to Gas Stations when she planned road trips in July and August.

Every fill-up on the road earned Kim 3X rewards—up to $2,000 in spend per quarter or 6,000 points. She also earned single rewards for everything else she bought. So, her points piled up quickly.
